Visible Menders Skill-Building: Whip Stitch Patching

Visible Menders Skill-Building: Whip Stitch Patching In-Person

This week will focus on how to keep things comfy by creating a whip stitch patch. This patching technique can be used on stretchy fabrics, such as stretchy jeans. Taught by local art teacher Ann Marie Piantedosi. All materials will be provided. Please arrive at 6pm if you are interested in learning about whip stitch patching.

After the skill-building demonstration, you'll have time to try the whip stitch technique with support from your peers, or work on another visible mending project. If you do not want to learn the whip stitch, come by anytime between 6 and 8 to work on your projects like usual.
