Author Talk and Embroidery Workshop with Shannon Downey In-Person
We're thrilled to welcome back renowned craftivist Shannon Downey to celebrate the release of her new book, "Let's Move the Needle: An Activism Handbook for Artists, Crafters, Creatives, and Makers; Build Community and Make Change!" Shannon will discuss her new book and lead us in creating our own "Yay!" flag. You can use this fun flag to celebrate small wins and cheer yourself on. Because if we don't celebrate along the way, we can forget how much progress we've made.
Books will be available for purchase and signing from our local independent bookstore, Balin Books.
